Veteran of the Air Force and graduate of The City College of New York, Derek is actively pursuing his passion for design. He developed an understanding of user behaviors and patterns to create effective end-to-end products. Derek's experience in user research, visual designing, usability testing, and branding have enabled him to improve client projects for various applications.

 

Aside from his career path, Derek started a platform known as The Stage NYC, which was created to give visual artist a space to showcase their passion and network. Started in 2017, the business has generated sales  and featured over 30 artist from across the country.

More about Derek. He studies the stock market, paints, edits photos, is a fitness fanatic, and will at least google a few new subjects he's unfamiliar with 3 times a week. His lifestyle shows an enthusiastic approach each day. Each opportunity he takes allows him to develop a sense of identity and placement in the world.
